THEATRE COORDINATOR

From  2013-2015  Daniel worked as UK coordinator for Japanese theatre company Ship of the Ryukyu, coordinating four productions at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The Okinawan based company produces traditional dance and music shows and is an official project of the Okinawan Prefecture.

 

Daniel’s work for the company included: negotiation of venue hire, performances dates and times. Employing RP company, translators and print designers. Arranging performers visas/permits as well as writing copy, reregistering the shows, sourcing accommodation and insurance as well as managing ticket sales and allocation. Over the past three years Daniel has helped to build the companies UK presence by managing their Facebook and Twitter accounts.

 

List of productions Daniel has coordinated: Okinawa Sansan, Bottle Mail from Okinawa, The Ryukyu Classic, The Ryukyu Contemporary.
